JAVA soul NATION 2011

Wwwhhoooaaaa ...  last Saturday night i went to a great music event in Jakarta and it was JAVAsoulNATION. The most interesting part from JAVAsoulNATION was the performance of Mike Posner at the main stage!!! Well actually JAVAsoulNATION was held for 3 days in a row from September 23rd to 25th 2011 at the Istora Senayan - Jakarta. 

Each day performed different local and international singers but i bought the ticket for Sept. 24th because i wanna see the performance of Mike Posner and  IT WAS GREAT!!! I really enjoyed his performance and i will upload the photos and videos from that night event .... :)

Hhhooooaaaaa..... been quite busy lately!!!

Ok, let's stick to the point ... let's chat about SYMBIAN ANNA ... Finally i installed Anna into my silver N8.

I am HAPPY because Nokia really make a great improvements ... i can feel the smoothness everytime i scroll the screen with my thumb!! YESSSSS SO SMOOTH NO MORE LAGGING!

MOLOME

PiCtUrEs ... pIcTuReS ... PICtures ... If you like taking pictures and sharing those pictures with your friends or others, you can use many available mobile applications in the market. To me,  there is one GREAT mobile application for sharing pictures with others and that is MOLOME. Molome is a multiplatform application, it means it can be downloaded to any smartphone with different OS, such as Symbian and Android.

You can take pictures thru your mobile camera and then edit 'em with molome or you can take pictures by using molome application then edit 'em with many effects provided in the application then upload it. You can also share your pictures to your facebook and twitter accounts! Isn't it FABULOUS!!! 

The more interesting part in molome is that we can "like" and give comments to pictures and ooooffffffff we can follow and be followed by others too (molome community)!

Give it a try and you will like it (i hope so :-) )

AHA Wireless Broadband Internet - Review

Apakah kalian sudah pernah mendengar AHA sebelumnya???

Sudah beberapa hari ini saya lihat iklan AHA Wireless Broadband Internet di Tv yang merupakan bisnis unit dari kelompok Bakrie (Esia). Karena rasa keingintahuan saya maka saya buka deh situs si AHA! menarik juga kalau dilihat dari penjelasannya yang intinya CEPAT dan MURAH seperti moto yang diterapkan di AHA ini yaitu Affordable Hyper-speed Access. Siapa juga yang gak mau kecepatan + murah! Dengan berbagai pertimbangan akhirnya saya beli paket modem Huawei EC167 + simcard AHA seharga Rp 470.000 walaupun di price tag resminya Rp. 499.000 ... ternyata kalau beli di toko komputer langganan saya harganya bisa nego jadi lebih murah dibanding beli di AHA Zone atau Esia!!!

Sampai di rumah saya langsung baca petunjuk penggunaan modem AHA ini dan seperti biasa harus lakukan registrasi dulu sebelum digunakan. Menariknya, pada paket perdana ini kita diberi BONUS UNLIMITED selama 30 hari dengan kuota 3GB (okeh dehhhh). Paket yang ditawarkan oleh AHA setelah masa berlaku bonus habis ada 3 macam :

1. Paket Ekonomis dengan kecepatan up to 200 Kbps seharga Rp. 80.000 kuota 3Gb/30 hari

2. Paket Dinamis dengan kecepatan up to 600 Kbps seharga Rp. 110.000 kuota 4 Gb/30 hari

3. Paket Fantastis dengan kecepatan up to 3,1 Mbps seharga Rp. 200.000 kuota 7 Gb/30 hari

Jujur aja saya termakan iklan AHA yang katanya kalau lihat video di youtube tidak pake buffering alias mulusssss jalannya ... langsung saya cek ... segera ... ternyata di paket bonus unlimited 30 hari ini masih ada buffering alias video clip tidak jalan mulus walaupun not a big deal for me karena over all masih bisa dikatakan bagus sih. Saya masih akan terus men-cek sampai paket bonusnya habis lalu masuk ke paket resmi yang ditawarkan AHA, kayaknya Paket Fantastis cukup menarik buat dicoba deh!

Well guys ... that's a bit info about AHA from me :)

Nokia N8 - Social Network

 

Nokia N8 in my hand is almost 3 months now, i always up to date with the latest software update from Nokia Center. Nokia N8 has a built-in Nokia Social Network and the latest Social Network is Version 1.3.143. If you want to check your Social Network version then you have to go to Option ---> About.

This program lets us to sign in in 3 different social network accounts, they are Facebook, Twitter, and Renren. Well, i am only using 2 of them (Facebook and Twitter).

When we want to use it for the first time, we must log-in to the accounts. Well it is a normal process for all of us even if we do it in our laptop or PC. You don't have to be worried because the process of log-in is not too long, just type your e-mail and password like the picture below.

If you want to add more account then go to option ---> add social network

If you want to delete your account then go to option ---> remove social network

Hehehe piece a cake right!!

 After you can successfully log-in to your account, you can use it and update your status everytime you want. There is some "problems", i think, and many of us feel a lil bit disappointed with Nokia Social Network. WHY??? because there is no NOTIFICATION ALERT in this built-in Social Network! For example, if your friend give a comment in your status or like your status, you will never know it. You can not see who like your status. Check the pictures below!

Well, i am hoping in the future Nokia will give a good concern on this matter because many people want to be able to get the notification! :)

Nokia N8 - Homescreen

OKEY... Today is almost 3 months since i got my Nokia N8. I like the smartphone because it has different taste (to me) - Symbian^3 - well it is not flawless but it is not bad either and i am expecting that Nokia will provide us - the N8 Users - with new Software Update! Nokia N8 comes with 3 built-in homescreens and it is manageable, it means you can use all the 3 homescreens or use 1 or 2 and delete the others and you can bring all the deleted homescreens back to your phone, very simple.

I read some articles from forums in internet about N8, i found out that if we use all the homescreen it will drop your battery very fast. Well it is true! to me, i have to recharge my battery at least 2 times a day because not only i am using all the homescreens but also i am using many applications online and offline. Helloooo... i am using a smartphone here and with the support of unlimited data package that is why i want to use all the benefits that it offers in it.

Let's go back to our main issue here... well it is not an issue actually :) . Like i have mention before, i am using all the homescreens and manage all useful widgets in each homescreen based on the need to support my days.

Here, i put the basic needs of a smartphone as a phone! It means that i have to put widgets / icons that's showing time, contacts, messages, notifications, etc. I forgot to say that 1 homescreen could consist of 6 widgets. So, in the homescreen #1 i put :

4. Shortcuts Widget (Shortcuts of Menu, Application, Office and File Manager)

I like to take pictures with my N8 and i dedicate my last homescreen as a digital frame of my pictures so instead of using widgets in homescreen #3, i would rather to put pictures as the wallpaper so i can see it as a digital frame :) .  I change the picture everyday or everytime i need to.
