Open Office
Few months ago i browsed the net and i found one interesting software : OPEN OFFICE. It is a freeware, it means that we can download and install it in our PC or Notebook for FREE... yes FREE! Open Office is a similar program to Microsoft Office.
There are:
Text Document which is similar to Microsoft Word
Spreadsheet which is similar to Microsoft Excel
Presentation which is similar to Power Point
There are also other programs like Drawing, Formula, and Database. We can use them as what we need.
I wanna show you the display of Open Office when we open it for the first time. There you can see the option of what kind of program that we wanna use.
Like i have mention to you earlier, Text Document which is similar to Microsoft Word
Spreadsheet which is similar to Microsoft ExcelPresentation which is similar to Power Point

Google Earth
I just tried google earth and i found it very interesting... amazing!!! I never use it before and i thought it would be difficult for me to try but i was WRONG!
When we open google earth, it display sidebar menu (consist of title bars: Find/Search, Place, Layer) on the left side and globe picture on the right side. We can turn around the globe picture just like on the 3D globe so we can see the earth rolling. I can find my country, my city, my address, and my home (the roof top of my home).
In the first attempt that i did, i look for my country from the globe picture in Google Earth
Then i zoom it to see in more detail to see my country and the neighboring ones
Then i look for Jakarta and zoom it again (it is more spesific to the place where i live) and... voilla....
WOW... i can feel the experience of "being a bird" that fly up in the sky. Just like a kid with a new toy!
Those of you who would like to try to install Google Earth and use it find a place or whatever, here is the link to download it :

Indonesian Election 2009
OMG... as an Indonesian, yesterday, i didn't go to TPS (Tempat Pemungutan Suara / a place to elect) because my name was not registered. What was wrong??? i never have any intention to be GOLPUT (intention not to vote/give my voice on the election day). The bureaucracy IS BAD!!!
I watched the news that in Madura around 3000 people were not registered (only 2000 were registered on the election day - it means more than half of the elector were not registered!). The inconveniency was not in Java only but also all over Indonesia. Hehehe.. it's funny! Whether KPU (Komisi Pemilihan Umum / The institution which held and arrange the election) worked well and did its best or NOT. Why all the mess happened? Do they need more time to prepare the election?
As the citizen of Indonesia i feel bad and not comfortable with all the situation especially i can't give my voice to this country! KPU took my right to vote!
